Breakfast of Champions

So this was breakfast this morning: a sugar free Rockstar and a Promax bar (one of the few protien bars that I actually like the taste of). At around 300 calories, that’s not bad, really. The problem is that I work until midnight and ideally, I need to be up at 8 or 8:30am in order to be at the gym by 10am, because otherwise I won’t be out of there by Noon and home, showered and eating lunch by 1pm, which is necessary so that every other day I can get Delilah to the dog park by 2pm and then back home to work (which starts at 5pm). Oh, and the time between 8:30 and 9:30 when I leave the house is action packed, folks.

You see where I’m going with this, right? I don’t have a lot of time for breakfast, and I can’t exactly wake up earlier than 8am unless I really want to sacrifice sleep, on top of which? I’m a champion snooze-button pusher, so it would never happen anyway. The bottom line is that I needed quick and energy-giving breakfast ideas, and here’s what I found:
